Amboli
is hill station near Sawantwadi . It is quit but pleasant hill resort.
It is 690 mtrs above sea level. The area is surrounded with dense
forest. The sea view point offers you pancromic view of a good part
of konkan coast. It is 26 k.m far from Sawantwadi and 539 k.m far
from Mumbai. There is big Marvelous
Water-fall. Tourists used to play in water. In summer you feel cool
in amboli.
Every
year more than 50000 tourist visits this place. Mostly after Diwali
till Summer end there is tourist rush at Amboli. In rainy season you
will see beautiful waterfalls here. The sunset point & Hiranyakeshi

is called 'Hiranyakechi'. Hiranyakchi and Nangartar Waterfall is very
famous.
