Kulaba Fort

Welcome to . . Kulaba Fort
In the history of Marathas, this fort was significant. It was developed by Kanhoji Angre as a major naval base.

The fort which is 900 ft. long and 350 ft. wide, stands at the sea shore near Alibaug in Raigad district. Hirakot fort, Magnetic observatory, Kanhoji Angre's Samadhi are other places of attraction here. A loveliest beach which has made Alibaug a popular seaside place is in the vicinity of the fort.
