It is situated on the extreme end of the chain of forts on the seashore, near Harne port. In earlier times it was useful to the govt. officers. Its door is facing the sea. Towards the right hand side of the door there is an idol of Lord 'Maruti'. In the fort there is a carved sculpture of eagle having two faces. Gandbherund captured 4 elephants - this scene is carved on one door. A scene, in which a dog holds an elephant by his legs & an elephant holding the tail of another elephant is carved on a door. Such strange sculpture is found in the fort. Now this door is closed. There is a top fort in it. In 1862 there were 69 cannons & some soldiers here. These is a hotel of Kamath Group near this fort.
